READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY. By accessing the Taxi Express app, creating an account, or requesting a ride, you (“User”, “Passenger”, “you”) agree to be legally bound by this agreement with Servicio de Taxi Express LLC.
Article 1. Definitions
- “App”
- The Taxi Express mobile software and related services operated by the Company.
- “Company”, “STE”, “we”
- Servicio de Taxi Express LLC, a Georgia Domestic Limited Liability Company (Control No. 25053551), principal address 4210 Oakwood Rd Ste B 8, Oakwood, GA 30566, Hall County.
- “Driver”
- An independent individual registered on the App who offers transportation to Passengers.
- “Passenger”
- A User who requests a ride through the App.
- “Ride”
- On-demand transportation requested and completed through the App.
- “Fare”
- Total estimated or final amount, including base, distance, time, taxes, and applicable surcharges.
- “Service Area”
- The State of Georgia, USA, in counties and municipalities where the App is enabled.
Article 2. Acceptance and capacity
2.1. You must be at least eighteen (18) years old with legal capacity to contract in Georgia.
2.2. If you use the App on behalf of a third party, you represent you have authority to bind them.
2.3. Use of the App implies acceptance of the Privacy Policy and, where applicable, the EULA.
Article 3. Nature of the service
3.1. STE is a technology marketplace connecting Passengers with independent Drivers. STE is not a carrier, does not provide taxi services directly, and is not an employer of Drivers.
3.2. The transportation contract is directly between Passenger and Driver. STE facilitates booking, payment, and communication.
3.3. STE does not guarantee Driver availability at all times or in all locations.
Article 4. Service area and compliance
4.1. Rides may only be requested within the enabled Service Area.
4.2. STE and Drivers must comply with applicable Georgia law, including O.C.G.A. Title 40, Georgia DDS rules, and local ordinances.
4.3. STE may modify, expand, or restrict the Service Area with notice in the App.
Article 5. Account registration
5.1. You must provide accurate, complete, and current information (name, phone, email, and other requested data).
5.2. You are responsible for credential confidentiality and all activity on your account.
5.3. STE may suspend or close accounts with false, fraudulent, or incomplete information.
Article 6. Rides
6.1. When requesting a Ride, you authorize use of your location data to assign a Driver.
6.2. Estimated Fare is shown before confirmation; final Fare may vary due to wait time, authorized detours, or applicable surcharges shown in the App.
6.3. You must be at the agreed pickup point. Drivers may cancel for no-show per App policy.
6.4. STE may cancel or reassign Rides for safety, fraud, unavailability, or Terms violations.
Article 7. Fares, taxes, and surcharges
7.1. Fares are calculated per parameters published in the App (base, miles, minutes, and surcharges shown before confirmation).
7.2. Sales Tax, Transportation Tax, and other legally required charges in Georgia may apply.
7.3. STE does not apply hidden dynamic pricing (“surge”) beyond what is explicitly shown before confirmation.
7.4. Tips are voluntary and processed through enabled App methods.
Article 8. Payments
8.1. Ride payments may be processed by card or digital wallet through Stripe, Inc. (including Apple Pay / Google Pay when available), or by cash directly to the Driver when selected in the App.
8.2. Card payments are charged at Ride completion on the payment screen. Cash payments are settled directly between Passenger and Driver.
8.3. STE does not store your full card number; Stripe processes card data per PCI-DSS.
8.4. You authorize charges for the final Fare, selected tip, and outstanding balances (e.g. cancellation fees) to your registered payment method.
8.5. Charge disputes must be reported to STE within thirty (30) days at the email in Article 21.
Article 9. Cancellations and no-show fees
9.1. You may cancel per App options; cancellation fees may apply if a Driver was assigned or arrived at pickup, as shown before confirmation.
9.2. Cancellation or no-show fees are non-refundable except for demonstrable STE or Driver error.
Article 10. Prohibited conduct
- Requesting Rides for illegal purposes or outside the Service Area.
- Harassment, discrimination, violence, or conduct endangering Drivers or third parties.
- Manipulating GPS, Fares, ratings, or the App system.
- Transporting weapons, illegal substances, or prohibited goods without authorization.
- Using a third party’s account or allowing unauthorized use.
- Reverse engineering, scraping, or unauthorized automated access.
Article 11. Location, communications, and notifications
11.1. The App collects real-time location data while in use to operate Rides. See the Location Data Disclosure in our Privacy Policy.
11.2. You consent to push, SMS, or email notifications related to active Rides, safety, and your account.
11.3. You may manage marketing preferences per the Privacy Policy.
Article 12. Ratings and content
12.1. After a Ride you may rate the Driver. Ratings must be honest and not defamatory.
12.2. STE may moderate, hide, or remove content violating these Terms or law.
Article 13. Intellectual property
13.1. The App, “Taxi Express” marks, logos, software, and content are owned by Servicio de Taxi Express LLC or its licensors.
13.2. You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the App per these Terms and the EULA.
Article 14. Suspension and termination
14.1. STE may suspend or terminate access immediately for breach, fraud, safety risk, or legal requirement.
14.2. You may close your account by contacting support; certain obligations (outstanding payments, disputes) survive closure.
Article 15. Disclaimer of warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY GEORGIA LAW, THE APP AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” STE DOES NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED SERVICE, ERROR-FREE OPERATION, OR THAT DRIVERS WILL MEET SUBJECTIVE PASSENGER EXPECTATIONS.
Article 16. Limitation of liability
16.1. STE is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential damages, or lost profits.
16.2. STE’s total liability for any Ride-related claim shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the Fare paid for that Ride, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100), unless Georgia law requires otherwise.
16.3. STE is not responsible for acts or omissions of independent Drivers, except as required by mandatory law.
Article 17. Indemnification
You will indemnify Servicio de Taxi Express LLC, its managers, employees, and agents against third-party claims arising from: (i) your use of the App; (ii) breach of these Terms; (iii) violation of law or third-party rights; or (iv) disputes with a Driver, except sole fault of STE.
Article 18. Governing law and jurisdiction
18.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without conflict-of-law principles.
18.2. Disputes not resolved amicably within thirty (30) days are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of state courts in Hall County, Georgia.
18.3. You waive forum non conveniens objections to the extent permitted by law.
Article 19. Modifications
STE may modify these Terms by posting the updated version at /legal/terms.html with an effective date. Continued use after material changes constitutes acceptance.
Article 20. General provisions
20.1. Entire agreement: These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and EULA constitute the full agreement between you and STE.
20.2. Severability: If any clause is invalid, the remainder remains in effect.
20.3. Assignment: STE may assign these Terms; you may not without written consent.
20.4. Force majeure: STE is not liable for failure due to events beyond reasonable control.
20.5. Language: This document is provided in English and Spanish. The English version controls for regulatory and app-store compliance unless law requires otherwise.

LEA ESTOS TÉRMINOS DETENIDAMENTE. Al acceder a la aplicación Taxi Express, crear una cuenta o solicitar un viaje, usted («Usuario», «Pasajero», «usted») acepta quedar legalmente vinculado por el presente contrato con Servicio de Taxi Express LLC.
Artículo 1. Definiciones
- «Aplicación» o «App»
- El software móvil Taxi Express y servicios asociados operados por la Compañía.
- «Compañía», «STE», «nosotros»
- Servicio de Taxi Express LLC, sociedad de responsabilidad limitada constituida bajo las leyes del Estado de Georgia, Control Number 25053551, domicilio 4210 Oakwood Rd Ste B 8, Oakwood, GA 30566, Condado de Hall.
- «Conductor»
- Persona física independiente registrada en la App que ofrece servicios de transporte a Pasajeros.
- «Pasajero»
- Usuario que solicita un viaje a través de la App.
- «Viaje»
- Servicio de transporte puntual solicitado y completado mediante la App.
- «Tarifa»
- Monto total estimado o final, incluyendo componentes base, distancia, tiempo, impuestos y recargos aplicables.
- «Área de Servicio»
- Todo el Estado de Georgia, EE. UU., en los condados y municipios donde la App esté habilitada.
Artículo 2. Aceptación y capacidad legal
2.1. Debe tener al menos dieciocho (18) años y capacidad legal para contratar en Georgia.
2.2. Si utiliza la App en nombre de un tercero, declara tener autorización para vincularlo a estos Términos.
2.3. El uso de la App implica aceptación de la Política de Privacidad y, si aplica, del EULA.
Artículo 3. Naturaleza del servicio
3.1. STE es una plataforma tecnológica de intermediación que conecta Pasajeros con Conductores independientes. STE no es un transportista, no presta servicios de taxi directamente y no es empleador de los Conductores.
3.2. El contrato de transporte se celebra directamente entre el Pasajero y el Conductor. STE facilita la reserva, el pago y la comunicación.
3.3. STE no garantiza disponibilidad continua de Conductores en todo momento ni en toda ubicación.
Artículo 4. Área de servicio y cumplimiento normativo
4.1. Los Viajes solo pueden solicitarse dentro del Área de Servicio habilitada en la App.
4.2. STE y los Conductores deben cumplir las leyes aplicables del Estado de Georgia, incluida la O.C.G.A. Title 40 y normas del Georgia DDS.
4.3. STE puede modificar, expandir o restringir el Área de Servicio mediante aviso en la App.
Artículo 5. Registro de cuenta y veracidad de datos
5.1. Debe proporcionar información veraz, completa y actualizada.
5.2. Es responsable de mantener la confidencialidad de sus credenciales y de toda actividad en su cuenta.
5.3. STE puede suspender o cerrar cuentas con información falsa, fraudulenta o incompleta.
Artículo 6. Solicitud, asignación y ejecución de viajes
6.1. Al solicitar un Viaje, usted autoriza el uso de sus datos de ubicación para asignar un Conductor.
6.2. La Tarifa estimada se muestra antes de confirmar; la Tarifa final puede variar por tiempo de espera, desvíos autorizados o recargos aplicables.
6.3. El Pasajero debe estar en el punto de recogida acordado. El Conductor puede cancelar por no presentación conforme a la política de la App.
6.4. STE puede cancelar o reasignar Viajes por seguridad, fraude, indisponibilidad o incumplimiento de estos Términos.
Artículo 7. Tarifas, impuestos y recargos
7.1. Las Tarifas se calculan según parámetros publicados en la App.
7.2. Pueden aplicarse impuesto sobre ventas, impuesto de transporte y otros gravámenes exigidos por ley en Georgia.
7.3. STE no aplica precios dinámicos ocultos fuera de lo mostrado explícitamente al Pasajero.
7.4. Propinas son voluntarias y se procesan a través de los medios habilitados en la App.
Artículo 8. Pagos
8.1. Los pagos de Viajes pueden procesarse con tarjeta o billetera digital a través de Stripe, Inc. (incluido Apple Pay / Google Pay), o en efectivo directamente al Conductor cuando se seleccione en la App.
8.2. Los pagos con tarjeta se cobran al finalizar el Viaje. Los pagos en efectivo se liquidan directamente entre Pasajero y Conductor.
8.3. STE no almacena el número completo de su tarjeta; Stripe procesa los datos conforme a PCI-DSS.
8.4. Usted autoriza el cargo de la Tarifa final, propina seleccionada y saldos pendientes al método de pago registrado.
8.5. Disputas de cargo deben reportarse a STE dentro de treinta (30) días al correo del Artículo 21.
Artículo 9. Cancelaciones y tarifas de no presentación
9.1. Puede cancelar conforme a las opciones de la App; pueden aplicarse tarifas de cancelación según se muestre antes de confirmar.
9.2. Tarifas de cancelación o no presentación no reembolsables salvo error demostrable de STE o del Conductor.
Artículo 10. Conducta prohibida
- Solicitar Viajes con fines ilegales o fuera del Área de Servicio.
- Acoso, discriminación, violencia o conducta que ponga en riesgo a Conductores o terceros.
- Manipular GPS, Tarifas, calificaciones o el sistema de la App.
- Transportar armas, sustancias ilegales o mercancía prohibida sin autorización.
- Utilizar la cuenta de un tercero o permitir uso no autorizado.
- Realizar ingeniería inversa, scraping o acceso automatizado no autorizado.
Artículo 11. Ubicación, comunicaciones y notificaciones
11.1. La App recopila ubicación en tiempo real mientras está en uso para operar Viajes. Véase la divulgación de datos de ubicación en la Política de Privacidad.
11.2. Usted consiente recibir notificaciones push, SMS o correo relacionados con Viajes activos, seguridad y cuenta.
11.3. Puede gestionar preferencias de marketing conforme a la Política de Privacidad.
Artículo 12. Calificaciones y contenido
12.1. Tras un Viaje puede calificar al Conductor. Las calificaciones deben ser honestas y no difamatorias.
12.2. STE puede moderar, ocultar o eliminar contenido que viole estos Términos o la ley.
Artículo 13. Propiedad intelectual
13.1. La App, marcas «Taxi Express», logotipos, software y contenido son propiedad de Servicio de Taxi Express LLC o sus licenciantes.
13.2. Se le otorga una licencia limitada, revocable e intransferible para usar la App conforme a estos Términos y al EULA.
Artículo 14. Suspensión y terminación
14.1. STE puede suspender o terminar su acceso inmediatamente por incumplimiento, fraude, riesgo de seguridad o requerimiento legal.
14.2. Usted puede cerrar su cuenta contactando a soporte; ciertas obligaciones sobreviven al cierre.
Artículo 15. Exención de garantías
EN LA MÁXIMA MEDIDA PERMITIDA POR LA LEY DE GEORGIA, LA APP Y LOS SERVICIOS SE PROPORCIONAN «TAL CUAL» Y «SEGÚN DISPONIBILIDAD».
Artículo 16. Limitación de responsabilidad
16.1. STE no será responsable por daños indirectos, incidentales, especiales, consecuenciales o lucro cesante.
16.2. La responsabilidad total acumulada de STE no excederá el mayor de: (a) la Tarifa pagada por ese Viaje, o (b) cien dólares estadounidenses (USD $100).
16.3. STE no es responsable por actos u omisiones de Conductores independientes, salvo lo exigido por ley imperativa.
Artículo 17. Indemnización
Usted indemnizará y mantendrá indemne a Servicio de Taxi Express LLC frente a reclamaciones de terceros derivadas de su uso de la App, incumplimiento de estos Términos, violación de ley o disputas con un Conductor, salvo culpa exclusiva de STE.
Artículo 18. Ley aplicable y jurisdicción
18.1. Estos Términos se rigen por las leyes del Estado de Georgia.
18.2. Las disputas se someterán a la jurisdicción exclusiva de los tribunales del Condado de Hall, Georgia.
18.3. Usted renuncia a objeciones por forum non conveniens en la medida permitida por ley.
Artículo 19. Modificaciones
STE puede modificar estos Términos publicando la versión actualizada en /legal/terms.html con fecha de vigencia.
Artículo 20. Disposiciones generales
20.1. Integridad: Estos Términos, la Política de Privacidad y EULA constituyen el acuerdo completo.
20.2. Divisibilidad: Si alguna cláusula es inválida, las demás permanecen vigentes.
20.3. Cesión: STE puede ceder estos Términos; usted no puede cederlos sin consentimiento escrito.
20.4. Fuerza mayor: STE no será responsable por incumplimiento debido a eventos fuera de su control razonable.
20.5. Idioma: Este documento se ofrece en inglés y español. La versión en inglés prevalece para cumplimiento regulatorio salvo exigencia legal contraria.
